In the 17th and 18th century Minas Gerais became the economic center of the colony, with a rapid settlement. In 1709, they created the Captaincy of São Paulo and Minas de Ouro, separated from the Province of the Espírito Santo. In 1720, the Captaincy of Minas Gerais was separated from the Captaincy of São Paulo, with its capital Vila Rica (Ouro Preto today).

BEST MOMENTS

 The moment we liked  the most was when we went to “Tião Parreira” and listened to his amazing  life story. Besides that, the church “Matriz de Tiradentes” was an outstanding occasion.
